31, Junior High Honor Concert, 7:30pm at Eastlake HS (selected 9th graders)
February:
2, Elementary Honor Concert, 7:30pm at Evergreen JH
3, last day of 1st semester
9, Elementary Band Concert (#2 of 3). Symphonic Band plays finale (arrive in gym at 8:00pm, leave right after)
11, High School Solo/Ensemble festival for Northlake Region, Eastlake HS all day (Mr. B won't be able to attend because of EIP)
11, EIP "Side-by-Side" event at U.W. Bus leaves Kamiakin at 9:20am and returns at 12:45
17-20, All-State in Yakima (check wmea.org and click on "calendar" for more information)
18, Jr. All-State in Yakima

March:
10, TWO Jazz Gigs at TWO Bellevue retirement centers! 10:30-11:30am and 2:00-3:00.
22, 7th grade Concert Band to District Band Festival all day at Lake Washington HS
23, 3rd quarter recordings due by 3:15pm
27, 3rd quarter concert [This one will be our "Community Concert" where YOU, the parents and community perform!]
April:
14, District Solo/Ensemble Festival at Redmond JH
20, Symphonic Band travels to Oregon State University for day-long band festival (usually 5:00am-midnight)
May:
1, Wind Ensemble to George Fox University (Oregon)
31, Final Elementary Band Concert
June:
1, All 5th & 6th graders come to band for final farewell, announcements, summer info, etc. (no instruments)
5, Beginning saxophone clinic for 5th graders who switched from clarinet to sax (#1 of 2)
5, Final Kamiakin concert
6, Morning music assembly for student body. Uniform turn-in
